Becoming Me: The Story Behind Wild & Becoming

The heart behind Wild & Becoming

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m the woman behind Wild & Becoming—a space that lives somewhere between the chaos of now and the unfolding of who we’re yet to become. This blog isn’t just about me, but I thought I’d begin by telling you a little bit of my story—the imperfect, evolving, and curious journey that led me here.

I’m a mother, a writer, a creative, and someone who’s always been a little in love with questions. The kind you can’t easily Google. The kind that unfold over time. The kind that shift as you grow.

I’ve always felt pulled in a thousand directions—by passions, by responsibilities, by the tug between the grounded and the wildly possible. I used to feel like I needed to “pick a lane”—to be a parenting blogger, or a DIY queen, or a mindfulness coach, or an educator. But the truth is, I’m all of those things—and none of them completely.
And that’s where Wild & Becoming began.

This space is my offering to women like me—women who want to explore life deeply and creatively, without boxing themselves in. Women who feel the messiness of motherhood, who crave slow moments, who love to make, bake, read, reflect. Women who hold presence in one hand and possibility in the other.

You’ll find a little of everything here:

  • Reflections on motherhood and identity
  • Creative projects and handmade joy
  • Honest thoughts about personal growth and self-discovery
  • Resources for learning, wondering, and writing
  • The occasional recipe, because what is life without something warm and made with love?

More than anything, I hope this becomes a place where you feel seen, sparked, and safe to wonder aloud about your own becoming.

This isn’t about having the answers—it’s about staying curious, staying kind, and honouring both the wholeness of who we are now and the wildness of who we are still growing into.

Thanks for being here.
Let’s become, together.

Lots of love,

Libby
